Patrick Shea

Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Patrick Shea is Vice President and Director of Sales and Marketing at Precursor. Mr. Shea's extensive sales management background in the financial services sector spans over two decades with several of Wall Street's largest firms. A graduate of the Smith Barney Sales Management Charter Class, Shea also served in management positions with Kidder Peabody and Paine Webber. Mr. Shea's senior management experience includes roles as Chief Compliance Officer, head of Trading and Operations and Director of Information Systems. He currently holds Series 7, 9, 10, 24, 55, 63 and 65 securities licenses.

Prior to joining Precursor, Mr. Shea was President and CEO of Marketpicture.com Inc., a State of Florida Registered Investment Advisor specializing in Technical Analysis of equities and futures contracts. While at Marketpicture, Shea was a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA).

A U.S. Army Officer and Vietnam veteran, Shea served as a helicopter pilot on active duty from 1970 to 1973 and later in the Florida Army National Guard from 1979 to 1986. Decorations include the Viet Nam Cross of Gallantry and U.S. Army Air Medals for combat operations in Binh Dinh Province during the NVA spring offensive of 1972.

Patrick Shea graduated from the University of South Florida - Tampa in 1973 and later served as President of the USF National Alumni Association, the USF Foundation and Leadership Tampa Bay. He has also received honors as the 1970 AAU and New York City Golden Gloves Silver Medalist, the “Outstanding Young Man of America” award in 1984 and the USF Alumni Service Award in 1999.
