Jan (Horner) Walsh

Websites are curious things. I typed a whole "bio" thing and sent it to the address that popped up in the site, and it burped, so now we will do the sensible thing and send it directly to you!

I am not lost, as people seem to think, but Rob forwarded the reunion stuff to me, so here goes. I met this guy John Walsh in Rob's class at Clarkson and we got married in 1983, and I dragged the poor soul to the 20th reunion in Newburgh, and I am in the group photo, on the top row, and it says Bonnie Rose by my face, oh well!  Have fun correcting that.

John and I are still happily married (21 years), and we are practicing to become empty nesters. Our older child, Jack, is a sophomore this fall at Pratt Institute of Art on Brooklyn, going for his BFA in Painting, and Beth is a senior in high school this year. She is looking for colleges where she can major in music, OR stage management, OR psychology, who knows? Jennifer, my first, is single-mom-ing it not far from us with 2 small, very busy boys, and pursuing a degree in automotive technology. I finally, after raising all these kids, got my BA in Art Ed. and am teaching in the middle school in Hudson, NH where we live. And I foolishly spend my summers with even more kids, about 200+ kids daily!, with the local recreation program.

I look forward to further news about the upcoming reunion, location, schedule, format/make-up of meals, etc., and will most probably be able to make it down. Kudos to those who make it all happen.

 Yours, Jan (Horner) Walsh
